Duunissa.fi has Android and iOS employee apps. Other devices can use the Internet browser to make employee entries. The app can be found on the Google Play Store for Android and the App Store on iOS as “Duunissa.fi”.
After installing and launching the application for the first time, the application requests permission to use your phone's location. After you allow the app to use your location information, you can sign in to the app using the login information given to you by your supervisor.
Launch the application from the blue Duunissa-fi icon.
In the username and password fields, enter the IDs provided to you by your manager and select "Login". If you have not received your Duunissa.fi username, please contact your supervisor.
When you sign in, the application will request synchronization. After synchronization you can press the "Close" button and start using the application.
It is a good idea to synchronize the application at regular intervals to keep the application up to date.
Launch Duunissa.fi application.
If your company has project groups, select the project group that has the project which you want to assign the shift.
Next, select the project you want to assign the shift to.
If the address at the bottom of the application is not correct, press 'Update'.
Press the "Start shift" button.
Your shift is in progress and you can now close Duunissa.fi application. Your shift stays on, even if the application is closed.
Press "End shift".
In the first window of the end view, you can post more information about the shift in the "Event Logging" field. When you finish typing, press the Return key on your keyboard to save the entry. You can add more entries if you wish. Your employer may have made shift event logging mandatory.
On the "Products" tab, you can tag products for a shift. The "Add Product" button opens the Product View, where you can select the product to be attached to the shift. When selecting a product, enter the quantity of product and press "OK". You can add more products if you wish.
The third tab shows the allowances your employer has enabled. Agree with your employer how your company will use the allowances.
Press "OK" in the upper right corner to accept the shift.
The shift added text appears when the shift is registered. You can then shut down the application or start a new shift.
From the navigation in the top right corner of the app, you can navigate to the "History" page, where you will find a summary of past shifts.
"Show work hours by month" opens a calendar where you can see the number of hours worked each day. Pressing the date will allow you to view the day more closely and possibly edit the shift.
Manual shift recording can be done with the "+ Shift" button.
On the History page, you can also see your most recent shifts as shift cards.
You can edit your shifts using the button in the upper right corner of your shift cards. Any information entered in the shift can also be edited.
The "Absence" page allows you to enter absences. You can add absence by pressing the "+ Absence" button. Select the period of absence and the reason and press "Save".
Absence is always recorded for the whole day. If absence interrupts the working day, you should agree with your supervisor how to record the situation.
It is not possible to start a shift during absences.
The "Holidays" page lets you mark holidays as well as flexi leaves.
Select "+ Holiday" to start adding your holiday and enter the start and end dates.
If a holiday is marked for the entire week, such as Monday to Sunday, the application will understand that the holiday has been used for six days.
The "Holidays" page can also be used to enter flexi leaves, which automatically suggests a full day. These hours are automatically deducted from the hours in the time bank.
The "Profile" page allows you to edit your personal information, such as your password or username.
Note that if the company settings are changed or a project is added, for example, the application must be synchronized. This can be done by selecting a synchronize from the menu and pressing the "Sync" button. Synchronization is complete when the icons next to all sections change to green.
